Elevate communication skills as a Full time Speech Language Pathologist in Student Services, working across various schools. Ensure the success of students with speech and language needs through collaboration and tailored interventions.
This position with an effective date of September 1, 2026, requires extensive training and experience in educational practices. Candidates will support students with diverse speech and language demands in alignment with the Ministry of Education's standards. This itinerant role requires a valid BC driver's license and a Master's degree in Speech/Language Pathology.
Key Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with Speech and Language Teams to deliver effective services
• Assess and prioritize speech-language needs among the school population
• Develop and implement personalized intervention programs
• Work closely with parents and school personnel to support student needs
• Provide in-service training for school district staff and parents
Requirements:
• Master's degree in Speech/Language Pathology
• Eligibility for College of Speech and Hearing Health Professionals of BC
• Proven skills in collaboration and communication
• Experience with students with diverse abilities
• Strong interpersonal skills and report writing abilities
