Lead our exercise programs at Wentworth Heights as a Full-Time PAL Coordinator. This Kinesiologist role at Schlegel Villages allows you to impact residents' lives positively.
You will design and implement engaging cognitive and physical activities for individuals and groups. Collaborating closely with physiotherapists and occupational therapists is essential to achieving our residents' goals. You will also supervise students and volunteers, ensuring a supportive learning setting within our PAL program.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop dynamic exercise programs for different resident needs
• Assess transfer capabilities and collaborate with therapy teams
• Lead volunteers and Kinesiology students in program execution




• Facilitate workshops on body mechanics and active living
• Engage in external partnerships for program enhancement
Requirements:
• Degree in Kinesiology with specialization in rehabilitation
• Registration with College of Kinesiologists an asset
• Experience in long-term care settings preferred
• Familiarity with relevant healthcare legislation
• Passion for promoting residents' well-being
