Become a vital member of the team at the Ontario Veterinary College Health Sciences Centre as an Anesthesia RVT. Engage in patient care and contribute to exceptional veterinary service in Guelph, Ontario.

This temporary full-time position is classified within the Grant and Trust Administrative & Technical Group, and reports to the Supervisor of Patient Care and Service Delivery. You will primarily focus on Anesthesia/Radiation Therapy services while supporting other units as needed. Utilize your veterinary technician skills to assist both companion and large animals during treatment.

Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver outstanding client service to build caseloads
• Coordinate patient care and communicate with service areas
• Maintain accurate medical records for confidentiality
• Administer drugs,



collect samples, and perform diagnostics
• Prepare anesthetic protocols under the anesthesiologist’s direction

Requirements:
• Two-year College Diploma in Veterinary Technology
• OAVT accredited Veterinary Technician program completion
• OAVT full membership in good standing
• Completion of VTNE and ethics exam
• 1-2 years of RVT experience, preferably with anesthesia
