Become an integral part of Irving Shipbuilding's team as an Associate Material Management Specialist. Utilize your analytical skills and supply chain knowledge to ensure material availability supporting crucial shipbuilding projects.
In this full-time, in-office role, you will monitor inventory performance and collaborate with various teams across the supply chain. Your responsibilities include analyzing inventory data and resolving material issues to facilitate efficient production schedules and customer commitments. This position offers the prospect to engage in continuous improvement initiatives and represent the Materials team in critical meetings.
Key Responsibilities:
• Monitor inventory performance across the supply chain
• Analyze data and generate inventory reports
• Investigate and resolve material supply issues
• Support material planning and continuous improvement
• Collaborate across Procurement, Production, and Logistics
Requirements:
• Post-secondary education in Supply Chain or related field
• 0-2 years relevant experience
• Knowledge of inventory management principles
• Solid analytical and problem-solving skills
• Professional certifications (CITT, SCMP, P.Log, PMP) are an asset
