Enhance patient access and care coordination as a Patient Flow & System Coordination Specialist with AHS in the Edmonton Health Corridor. Drive real-time patient movement and complex transitions in a 24/7 operational environment.

The Integrated Operations Centre (IOC) at AHS is seeking a Patient Flow & System Coordination Specialist. This role focuses on facilitating patient transfers, repatriation, and complex care transitions across multiple acute care sites. Collaborating with various stakeholders like physicians and community partners, you'll address barriers and ensure timely patient access to care.

Key Responsibilities:
• Coordinate patient flow and transfers between facilities
• Monitor and manage capacity pressures in real-time




• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and community partners
• Support optimization of clinical information systems
• Facilitate evidence-informed decision-making and operational problem-solving

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree in health profession
• Minimum five years of healthcare experience
• Strong facilitation and relationship-building skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and operational dashboards
• Ability to work independently in a 24/7 setting

This role is key to improving patient outcomes and operational excellence across the Edmonton Health Corridor.
