Simon Lift Systems Inc. is a well-established high-reach equipment rental company specializing in aerial work platforms, telehandlers, and related equipment.

We are looking for a motivated and dependable 2nd Year Apprentice Heavy Equipment Technician to join our team.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone wanting hands-on experience in a busy, professional shop workplace focused on safety, quality workmanship, and long-term career growth.

Responsibilities
Perform inspections, maintenance, and repairs on aerial lifts, telehandlers, and related equipment
Assist Journeyman technicians and Shop Foreman with diagnostics and repairs
Complete preventative maintenance and service work
Maintain accurate service records and inspection documentation
Participate in field service calls when required
Follow company safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area
Assist with equipment preparation, testing, and final quality checks

Requirements:
Registered 2nd Year Apprentice Heavy Equipment Technician
Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn




Robust work ethic and positive attitude
Ability to work in a fast-paced workplace with changing priorities
Valid Class 5 driver’s license (Class 3 is considered an asset)
Must have previous experience with boom, scissor lift, and telescopic Forklift
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks throughout the day
