Responsibilities
Measure and combine ingredients accurately according to specified recipes and production schedules
Operate packaging equipment and ensure proper sealing, labeling, and handling of finished products
Use forklifts safely to move raw materials, ingredients, and finished goods within the facility
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards throughout the production area to comply with food safety regulations
Conduct routine inspections of machinery and equipment to identify mechanical issues or maintenance needs
Follow all safety protocols related to food processing, equipment operation, and workplace sanitation




Assist in inventory management by recording ingredient usage and reporting shortages or discrepancies

Skills
Knowledge of packaging processes and equipment used in food manufacturing environments
Ability to operate forklifts safely and efficiently with proper certification preferred
Solid understanding of food industry standards, including sanitation and food safety regulations
Mechanical aptitude for troubleshooting basic machinery issues
Basic math skills for measuring ingredients accurately and recording data
Familiarity with food processing procedures and quality control practices
Excellent attention to detail to ensure product consistency and compliance with safety standards
