Mindbody Physiotherapy is expanding and opening new clinic in north edmonton where we will have establish referral from existing referral sources. In this role, you will deliver professional massage therapy services tailored to individual needs, ensuring each client experiences relief, rejuvenation, and a sense of balance. Responsibilities
Perform professional massage therapy sessions utilizing various techniques to address client-specific concerns, symptoms and preferences
Assess clients’ needs through consultation and develop personalized treatment plans that promote relaxation and healing
Maintain detailed records of treatments provided, including client progress and treatment outcomes
Educate clients on self-care practices and recommend appropriate follow-up therapies or exercises
Ensure a clean, safe, and comfortable treatment environment in accordance with health and safety standards
Communicate effectively with clients to understand their goals and provide clear explanations of procedures and perks
Stay current with industry best practices, new techniques, and relevant medical terminology to enhance service quality
Experience
Valid registration as a Massage Therapist with the alberta college of massage therapy
Prior experience delivering massage therapy services in a clinical or spa setting is preferred but not required
Strong knowledge of medical terminology related to musculoskeletal health and wellness
Excellent customer service skills with the ability to connect with diverse clients in a professional manner
Superior communication skills to clearly explain treatment plans and address client questions or concerns
