Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in carpentry with the ability to handle various construction tasks. This role involves working on a variety of projects, from residential renovations to commercial builds. The Carpenter will be responsible for interpreting blueprints, fabricating structures, and ensuring high-quality workmanship.

Duties
Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine project specifications.
Assemble and fabricate wooden structures, frameworks, and fixtures.
Install flooring, including hardwood, laminate, and tile laying as required.
Perform caulking and sealing tasks to ensure durability and weather resistance.
Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition, ensuring safety protocols are followed.
Collaborate with other tradespeople and team members to complete projects on time.

Experience




Proven experience as a Carpenter or similar role in construction or renovation projects.
Proficiency in reading blueprints and technical drawings is essential.
Experience with flooring installation, fence and deck installation, window and door installation would be an asset.
Robust attention to detail and commitment to quality craftsmanship.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced workplace.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing project requirements.
