Nepternship is connecting qualified students with a potential investment banking summer analyst prospect at a bulge bracket investment bank in Toronto for Summer 2027. A role would offer hands-on exposure to M&A; advisory, capital markets execution, and financial modelling across active live deal teams. Interns could work directly alongside associates, vice presidents, and managing directors and gain real-world experience in investment banking that goes well beyond the classroom.

Responsibilities
Conduct in-depth industry research, comparable company analysis, and precedent transaction screens to support active M&A; and capital markets mandates
Draft pitch books, management presentations, and client memoranda for review by senior bankers
Assist with financial modelling,



valuation analysis, and due diligence across live transactions
Prepare materials for client meetings, bake-offs, and deal closings
Collaborate with product and coverage teams on transaction strategy and client communication

Qualifications
Finance, Economics, or Accounting major
Advanced Excel, PowerPoint, and financial modelling
Familiarity with valuation methodologies (DCF, LBO, comparable companies)
Exceptional writing and presentation skills

Pay: $30.00-$40.00 per hour
