Responsibilities
Install, configure, and test POS systems and grocery equipment according to technical schematics and installation guidelines
Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on hardware components, including computer hardware, peripherals, and network connections
Use hand tools and mechanical knowledge to assemble, adjust, or repair equipment as needed during installations or service calls
Interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and low voltage plans to ensure accurate setup of electrical and data connections
Conduct system diagnostics for connectivity issues related to computer networking and low voltage systems, resolving problems efficiently
Document installation procedures,



maintenance activities, and troubleshooting steps clearly for record-keeping and future reference
Collaborate with store staff and team members to ensure minimal disruption during installations or repairs

Skills
Experience with Logivision POS is an asset.
Robust understanding of computer networking principles and protocols essential for POS connectivity
Mechanical aptitude with experience using hand tools for assembly or repairs
Knowledge of computer hardware components and their integration within POS systems
Ability to read schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals accurately
Familiarity with low voltage electrical systems common in retail environments
Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to troubleshooting hardware or network issues
Effective communication skills to coordinate with team members and store personnel during installations
