We are seeking a dedicated Farm Hand to join our team. The Farm Hand will assist in various tasks related to farm maintenance and operations.
Responsibilities:
Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment.
Irrigate crops and maintain irrigation systems.
Assist with heavy equipment operation as needed.
Perform field maintenance tasks such as planting, weeding, and harvesting.
Conduct basic math calculations for measuring and mixing materials.
Utilize power tools and hand tools for various farm-related activities.
Handle heavy lifting tasks to transport supplies and equipment.
Maintain cleanliness and organization in farm work areas.
-Responsible for the protected and efficent operation of equipment and vehicles
-Record and report information of daily completed jobs
-Interact with customers in an appropriate manner
Qualifications:
Experience with farm machinery, heavy equipment operation, and irrigation systems.
Proficiency in using power tools, hand tools, and mechanical knowledge.
Ability to perform heavy lifting tasks as required on the farm.
Basic math skills for measurements and calculations.
High Attention to detail
Valid drivers license
Ability to work long irregular hours during peak farming season
Good communication skills
