Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable, professional, and observant Construction Site Security Guard to help protect our construction sites, equipment, and personnel. The successful candidate will monitor site activity, control access, conduct regular patrols, and respond to incidents while maintaining a safe and secure environment.

Responsibilities
Patrol the construction site on foot and/or by vehicle to prevent theft, vandalism, and unauthorized access.
Monitor entrances and exits, verifying the identity of workers, contractors, and visitors.
Complete detailed daily activity reports and incident reports.
Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, and security concerns.
Observe and report unsafe conditions, hazards, or suspicious activity.
Secure gates, fencing, and equipment at the beginning and end of shifts.
Assist emergency services when required.
Enforce site rules and company policies in a professional manner.
Maintain transparent communication with supervisors and site management.

Qualifications
Valid Security Guard License (required).
Valid driver's license with reliable transportation (preferred).




Previous experience in construction site security or a similar security role is an asset.
Strong observation, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions.
Ability to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods.
First Aid/CPR certification is an asset.

Schedule
Day, evening, overnight, weekend, and holiday shifts available.
8- to 12-hour shifts depending on site requirements.
