Job Summary

Coast Tire is seeking a Tire Technician, where you will play a vital role in ensuring our customers' safety and satisfaction. In this energetic position, you’ll be responsible for inspecting, repairing, and replacing tires with precision and care. Your tire expertise and customer service skills will help deliver a seamless experience for every vehicle that comes through our service bay. Duties
Remove, repair, and install tires using hand tools and power tools efficiently and safely
Conduct thorough inspections of tires and wheels to identify wear, damage, or defects
Perform wheel alignments and balancing to ensure optimal vehicle performance
Assist customers by explaining tire options, maintenance needs, and recommended services with enthusiasm and clarity
Maintain cleanliness of work area and properly store tools and equipment after each job
Manage heavy lifting of tires and wheels safely while adhering to safety protocols
Complete detailed service reports, record parts used, and update customer files accurately

Skills




Prior dealership or automotive repair experience highly preferred
Strong mechanical knowledge of vehicle systems and tire components
Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment
Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally
Ability to lift heavy tires and wheels repeatedly without fatigue or injury
Knowledge of automotive repair procedures related to tire maintenance and replacement
Sales aptitude to recommend additional services or products that benefit the customer’s vehicle performance

All recent hires must have a clean driving and criminal record

Pay: $17.00-$19.00 per hour
