Part-Time Nanny / Family Helper

I am seeking a reliable, caring part time nanny to look after my almost 3-year-old daughter on a long-term basis. I am looking for someone who enjoys working with toddlers and can provide a safe, nurturing, and engaging workplace.

The available days are Thursdays and Saturdays, with a set schedule that includes daycare pickup on Thursdays and a longer shift on Saturdays. However, there may be some flexibility in the future, and I may occasionally require help on other weekdays depending on my work schedule.

Reliability, consistency, and good communication are extremely significant.

Schedule
Thursdays: 5:45–9:15 PM (includes daycare pickup)
Saturdays: Approximately 10:30 AM for about 9 hours (start/end times may be slightly flexible)

Some flexibility is appreciated as my work schedule may occasionally change, and additional weekday support may be needed from time to time.

Responsibilities
Provide attentive, safe, and loving care
Daycare pickup on Thursdays
Prepare meals and snacks and assist with light meal prep
Support bedtime, bath time, and daily routines
Take her to outings such as the park, playground,



recreation centre, etc.
Engage in age-appropriate play and activities (reading, crafts, sensory play, learning)
Encourage early development through positive interaction
Light housekeeping related to the child (tidying play areas, dishes, child laundry)

Ideal Candidate

I am looking for someone with strong experience caring for toddlers (ages 2–5) who is confident managing routines, emotions, and active behaviour in a calm and positive way.

The ideal person is patient, energetic, nurturing, and proactive, and genuinely enjoys engaging with young children through play and learning.

Previous toddler experience and references are required. Reliable transportation is necessary for daycare pickup and outings. First Aid/CPR certification is preferred.

Most importantly, I am looking for someone dependable and consistent long-term, as reliability is very significant to me.

Pay: $20.00 per hour
