An excellent chance for an energetic, experienced Journeyperson Welder for a term position August to November 30, 2026. This role requires a detail-oriented individual qualified for Small Bore Carbon Steel piping, who can work independently and as part of a team, ensuring that welding and pressure piping work are completed efficiently and with high quality. Start date August 24th in Saskatoon area. Shifts could be 10 or 12 hours daily and with 4 days off.

Duties
Fabricate and weld piping according to specification.
Perform welding tasks as needed for pipe connections and repairs
Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
Adhere to safety protocols and regulations while on the job site.

Skills
Proficiency in welding.
Solid mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot occasional issues.
Proficient problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication skills in English for effective collaboration with team members and supervisors.

Qualifications




Journeyman / person welder
Wage will be based on experience and skill up to $45.00 per hour.
Payroll or contractor; contractors must have sufficient liability insurance
Pressure ticket for small bore carbon steel piping
Preferably 2 or more years experience in welding
Outstanding safety record
Relevant safety tickets are an asset, fall protection necessary
Valid work permit
Valid drivers license and reliable mode of transportation
Successfully pass a standard D&A; test
