Long & McQuade is looking for a passionate Lessons Teacher to provide guitar instruction to students of all ages in Nanaimo, BC. As an independent contractor, you'll leverage your musical background and prior teaching experience. Effective lesson delivery is essential to foster student engagement and success in learning.
Key Responsibilities:
• Instruct students in guitar playing and techniques
• Apply structured lesson plans and methodologies
• Monitor student progress and modify lessons as needed
• Create a welcoming and inspiring learning space
• Engage with curriculum development where applicable
Requirements:
• Music degree or diploma from an accredited college
• Holding Grade 8 RCM standing with Grade 2 Rudiments
• Demonstrated experience in teaching music
• Knowledge of applicable teaching techniques
• Weekend availability required
