Responsibilities
Efficiently wash, sanitize, and organize dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment to maintain cleanliness throughout the shift
Assist with basic food preparation tasks such as chopping vegetables, assembling ingredients, or portioning dishes under supervision
Support the kitchen team in meal assembly and food handling to ensure timely service
Follow all food safety and sanitation protocols to uphold health standards and prevent contamination
Keep the kitchen area tidy by sweeping floors, emptying trash bins, and maintaining organized storage of supplies
Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth workflow during busy periods




Help with inventory management by notifying supervisors of low supplies or equipment needs

Qualifications
Previous experience in a restaurant or food service workplace is preferred but not required; enthusiasm to learn is key!
Knowledge of basic cooking techniques, food handling procedures, and safety standards in a kitchen setting
Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting heavy items or bending frequently
Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and hygiene practices
