Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Early Childhood Educator to join our team. As an Early Childhood Educator, you will play a crucial role in providing a nurturing and educational setting for young children aged 10 months - 10 years.

Responsibilities:
Provide a safe and inclusive learning environment for children
Assist in providing age-appropriate activities that stimulate cognitive, physical, and social development
Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
Collaborate with other ECE's to ensure a cohesive educational experience
Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's day
Assist babies and toddler with toileting needs including diapering
Light daily cleaning duties shared amongst colleagues

Skills:
Previous experience working with young children in a childcare or educational setting is an asset, but not required.
English proficiency: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
Childcare knowledge: Understanding of child development principles and best practices in early childhood education is an asset, but training is provided.
Passion for inspiring young minds and spend time with young children
Organizational skills:



Ability to maintain an organized classroom environment is an asset, but will come with training and time in the environment.

Requirements:
Clean criminal record check must be provided within three weeks of hire date
First aid must be valid or completed within three weeks of hire date
Early Childhood Education Level 1, 2 or 3 is an asset. Level 1 can be obtained free online within four months of hire date.
Availability to work between the hours of 6:30am and 6:30pm Monday to Friday.
