Job Overview

We are seeking a agile and highly organized Dental Administrator to join our vibrant dental practice. In this pivotal role, you will oversee daily administrative operations, ensuring a seamless patient experience from appointment scheduling to billing. Your energetic approach will help foster a welcoming environment while maintaining efficient office workflows. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, experience in dental or medical office management, and proficiency with electronic dental records systems. Duties
Manage appointment scheduling, patient check-ins, and follow-up communications using dental practice management software such as Dentrix/Cleardent or similar systems
Coordinate patient flow efficiently to minimize wait times and optimize daily schedules
Oversee billing processes, insurance claims, and payment collections with accuracy and professionalism
Maintain electronic medical records (EMRs) and ensure compliance with privacy regulations and medical/dental terminology standards
Assist with budgeting, supply inventory management, and vendor relations to support smooth office operations




Facilitate communication between patients, dental providers, and external healthcare entities such as hospitals or facilities when necessary

Requirements
Proven experience in dental office administration, with familiarity using Dentrix/Cleardent or comparable practice management software
Experience working with electronic medical records (EMRs) and understanding of medical terminology relevant to dentistry
Ability to handle budgeting tasks effectively while maintaining attention to detail in billing and financial documentation
Experience in submission of dental estimates - manually and electronically
Excellent organizational skills with the capacity to manage multiple priorities in a quick-paced environment
