The Tuna Grinder Operator is responsible for operating the grinding equipment to process tuna and other seafood products according to company specifications, food safety standards, and production schedules.

Key Responsibilities
Operate and monitor industrial grinding equipment and bandsaw used for processing tuna.
Prepare tuna for grinding by trimming, inspecting, and removing foreign materials as required.
Ensure proper product weight, texture, and consistency .
Maintain cleanliness of equipment and work area before, during, and after production.
Perform routine equipment checks and report mechanical issues to Supervisor.
Follow all workplace safety procedures and wear required PPE at all times.
Work efficiently to meet daily production targets.
Perform other duties as assigned.





Experience/Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Previous experience in seafood processing or food manufacturing is an asset.
Ability to operate industrial machinery safely.
Physically capable of standing for extended periods, working in cold environments, and lifting up to 40 lbs.
Robust communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team setting.
Ability to communicate effectively in English.

Pay: $24.00-$26.00 per hour
