Drive financial operations at Drake University as the Academic Affairs Budget Manager. Manage budgets and faculty appointments while ensuring compliance with University policies.

In this vital role within the Office of the Provost, you will oversee all budgetary aspects for the Academic Affairs division. You will monitor financial operations, analyze salary data, and lead budget planning efforts with Deans and academic units. This position requires solid management skills and a robust grasp of budgeting processes specific to Drake.

Key Responsibilities:
• Monitor Academic Affairs financial operations and budgets
• Prepare executive summaries for the Provost and designated staff
• Lead budget development with Academic Affairs units




• Manage faculty appointment processes in alignment with policies
• Act as a resource for best practices in Academic Affairs

Requirements:
• Must be a current Drake employee
• Undergraduate degree required
• Minimum three years as a budget manager
• Experience with Banner and Workday systems
• Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel

Excel in budget management and financial oversight while supporting Drake University's mission and values.
