Job Description CEDA has an immediate opening for an Apprentice Heavy Duty Mechanic for our shop in Conklin AB.

Camp provided Safetyis number 1: we watch out for one another and pride ourselves in doing the work right the first time Key Duties and Responsibilities: Preventative maintenance on Vacuum trucks, Combos, Water Trucks, Tankers, Skid-steers and Pressure Trucks Ongoing diagnostic and repair of diesel engines, after treatment/emissions, hydraulic systems and pumps Troubleshoot issues,
inspect equipment and replace or repair defective parts Interpret work orders Occasionally attend service calls in the field Work alongside Journeyman to learn and develop your skills Attend daily tool-box and safety meetings as scheduled Other duties as assigned Role Specifications: Registered
Apprentice Heavy Equipment Technician or higher required Valid class 5 Drivers licence required (non GDL) clean 5 year abstract Class 1 or 3 licence considered an asset Experience in hydraulic, electrical, and pump systems is an asset Able to provide a negative pre-employment drug and alcohol test Able to provide your own tools Skills: Youre happiest working in a team and getting the job done safely, as well as working independently on various projects in the shop Youre eager to learn and thrive in a busy shop workplace Additional Information The above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed.
