Key Responsibilities
Weighing & Data Entry: Weigh incoming and outgoing vehicles. Record weights, license plates, and material types in computerized systems.
Customer Service & Direction: Greet drivers, screen loads for compliance, and direct vehicles to correct unloading or loading areas.
Financial Transactions: Process payments via cash, debit, or credit cards. Balance cash drawers and manage basic accounts.
Reporting & Compliance: Generate daily weight, tonnage, and inventory reports. Ensure loads meet facility and legal weight limits.
Maintenance & Upkeep: Keep the scale house clean,



perform basic upkeep of scale equipment, and report technical faults
Job Requirements & Qualifications
Education: High school diploma or equivalent (Grade 12).
Computer Skills: Proficiency with basic software, data entry, and specialized scale operating systems.
Communication: Clear verbal skills to guide drivers and robust customer service abilities.
Attention to Detail: High accuracy in recording numbers and checking load descriptions.
Physical & Environmental: Ability to sit or stand for long periods, work in a booth or outdoor workplace, and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.

Pay: $20.00-$22.00 per hour
