Barista - Job Description:

Joining the Gong Cha team as a Barista, gives you the opportunity to provide superb customer service, create great tasting beverages and bringing customers, the Gong Cha’s experience. If you’re energetic, a team player and love to be in a fast pace workplace, we want to meet you.

Summary of Key Responsibilities:

Responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:
Acts with integrity, honesty and knowledge that promote the culture, values and mission of Gong Cha
Maintains calm attitude during periods of high volume or unusual events to keep store operating to standard and to set a positive example for the team
Anticipates customer and store needs by constantly evaluating environment and customers for cues
Maintains strong communication between managers and other team members
Available to work flexible hours that may include early mornings, evenings, weekends, nights and/or holidays
Delivers superb customer service to all customers through the Gong Cha Experience standards
Follows Gong Cha’s operational policies and procedures,



including those for cash handling and safety and security, to ensure the safety of all members during store operations.
Maintains a clean and organized workspace so that members can locate resources and product as needed
Maintains regular and consistent attendance and punctuality
Provides quality beverages consistently for all customers by adhering to all recipe and presentation standards. Follows health, safety and sanitation guidelines for all products
Available to perform many different tasks within the store during each shift

Ability to understand and carry out oral and written instructions and request clarification when needed

Job Types: Part time, Full-time

Pay: $17.60 per hour
