General Labourer - Food Processing

Our client operates a specialized meat processing facility focused on delivering high-quality, consistently prepared meat products.

We are currently looking for a Meat Processing Line Worker to ensure productive and high-quality meat preparation, grilling, marinating, and packaging in a fast-paced production environment. This role involves working on a production line to grill, marinate, and package meat products.

Responsibilities
Place meat on the grill conveyor in consistent rows for even grilling.
Monitor meat as it cooks, ensuring proper grill marks and doneness.
Flip and inspect meat to ensure it meets quality standards.
Assist with returning any uncooked or returned pieces to the grill.
Operate marinating equipment, including injection machines and tumblers.
Weigh and record meat portions accurately for marinating and packaging.




Monitor meat temperature during marinating and cooking processes.
Inspect packaged meat for quality, including grill marks, size, and shape.
Sort and package meat into boxes or baskets for distribution.
Maintain a clean and organized work workplace.

Qualifications
Basic knowledge of food safety and quality control.
Strong attention to detail.
Able to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
Ability to lift and move heavy materials.
Basic math skills.
No formal education required, but experience in food processing is an asset.

Job Types: Full time, Part-time

Pay: $17.60-$18.00 per hour
