Job Description We are seeking a Scale Clerk to join our team from Monday through Friday (Rotating Saturdays are required).

As a Scale Clerk, you will be responsible for accurately documenting weights and providing exceptional customer service.

This position requires solid attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting.

What you''re responsible for: Operatingthe scale system to accurately weigh incoming and outgoing metal materials Recording weights and relevant information in the computer system or on paper records Greeting and assisting customers in a friendly and qualified manner Maintaining accurate records of all transactions,weights, material types, and customer information Verifying the identification and documentation of drivers, carriers,



and vehicles while issuingreceipts, and processing payments accurately Providinggeneral administrative support, including answering phone calls, responding to emails, and maintaining filing systems Qualifications To join our team: You have previous experience as a scale house operator or strong customer service setting You have excellent customer service and interpersonal skills You have proficient computer skills and experience with scale software and Microsoft Office applications You have the ability to handle cash transactions and maintain accurate records You have effective communication skills, both verbal and written
