Overview

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Housekeeping Supervisor to Assist our Director of Housekeeping in maintaining excellent quality and cleanliness of our guest rooms and public areas . In this role, you will oversee daily operations to ensure the hotel is clean, secure, and welcoming for guests and staff alike. The ideal candidate is organized, communicative, and passionate about maintaining high standards of cleanliness and facility upkeep. This position offers an exciting chance to showcase leadership skills while ensuring a clean and comfortable environment.

Duties
Supervise and coordinate housekeeping staff to ensure tasks are completed efficiently and to quality standards.
Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and facilities to identify cleaning needs or maintenance issues.
Train team members on proper cleaning techniques, use of hand tools, power tools, and safety procedures.
Manage supplies inventory, including cleaning products and custodial equipment, ensuring proper stock levels.
Implement safety protocols related to heavy lifting,



and chemical handling.
Foster excellent communication within the team and with other departments to ensure smooth operations and guest satisfaction.

Experience
Prior Hotel Housekeeping experience is highly desirable.
Familiarity with commercial cleaning practices and custodial procedures
Robust time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively in a busy environment.
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently as part of daily duties.
Excellent communication skills for team coordination and customer service interactions.
Previous supervisory or leadership experience in a housekeeping or facilities setting is a plus.
Previous Union Experience is desired
