Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and highly skilled Certified Dental Assistant to join our energetic dental team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in dental assisting, with a focus on providing exceptional patient care and supporting the clinical operations of the practice. As a Certified Dental Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring smooth patient flow, assisting with procedures, and maintaining a welcoming environment. Your expertise in dental technology and patient communication will contribute to delivering outstanding dental services.

Duties
Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and ensuring all necessary supplies are available for procedures.
Assist dentists during various dental treatments, including restorative, orthodontic, and pediatric procedures.
Take dental radiographs using sensors
Manage patient records efficiently using dental software Cleardent/Tracker
Provide comprehensive patient education on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
Support front desk operations by acting as a dental receptionist, scheduling appointments, and managing patient inquiries.




Maintain strict adherence to infection control protocols and safety standards to protect patients and staff.
Stay current with advancements in dental technology, including orthodontics and pediatrics, to enhance service quality.

Requirements
Valid certification as a Dental Assistant from an accredited program; additional certification in orthodontics or pediatrics is advantageous.
Proficiency in cleardent / Tracker
Strong knowledge of medical terminology relevant to dentistry and oral health procedures.
Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients of all ages and collaborate with team members.
Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced clinical environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Prior experience as a dental receptionist is beneficial but not mandatory; customer service skills are essential.
