As an LPN on the acute surgical unit 3G3, you will deliver holistic care to orthopedic, spine, and general surgery patients. Your role includes assessing, planning, and implementing effective care strategies while collaborating with the healthcare team. You will also teach and advocate for patients and their families while working within the full scope of nursing practice.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assess and evaluate patient care needs and updates • Implement and document patient-centered care plans • Monitor and report changes in patient conditions • Assist patients with daily living activities • Collaborate with healthcare professionals for quality care
Requirements: • Graduation from an accredited practical nurse program • Active registration as LPN with Alberta's CLHA • Current BCLS-HCP certification • Robust communication and interpersonal skills • Ability to work in a physically demanding environment
