General Labourer – Warehouse & Yard

Location: Acheson, Alberta
Job Type: Full time
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:00 a.m. start
Hours: Approximately 8 hours per day

Loadstar Dispatchers (1963) Ltd. is an Alberta-owned and operated transportation company based in Edmonton. For more than 60 years, we have provided transportation, logistics, and storage solutions to the oil and gas, power, utility, and industrial sectors throughout Western Canada.

We are currently seeking a reliable and hardworking General Labourer to work at one of our valued customer’s warehouse and yard facilities in Acheson.

Responsibilities
Perform general labour duties in warehouse and outdoor yard environments
Load, unload, move, and organize materials
Assist with inventory and material-handling activities
Maintain clean, safe, and organized work areas
Follow all company and customer safety procedures
Complete other duties as assigned

Requirements
Previous warehouse, yard, or general labour experience is an asset




Physically fit and able to perform repetitive lifting and manual work
Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions
Reliable, punctual, safety-minded, and able to follow instructions
Able to work independently and as part of a team
Must have reliable personal transportation to Acheson
Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test
Must be able to pass a criminal background check
Steel-toed work boots and appropriate work clothing are required
