Reports To Team Manager/Supervisor Summary The Decoiler/Metal Fabricator is responsible for reading and analyzing blueprints and engineering drawings to assess the materials needed and to create the parts that correspond with the required metal cuts.

The Decoiler/Metal Fabricator is required to use a variety of light and heavy machinery to make their necessary cuts and to assemble the fabricated components into complete units.

Core Competencies Accountability Adaptability Planning and Organizing Problem Solving Results-Oriented Job Duties Analyze blueprints and engineering drawings to assess the materials needed and to plan the sequence of tasks for cutting metal Create and construct patterns and guides as templates for metal cutting Operate light machinery including decoilers, brake presses, shears, cutting torchers, grinders, and computer numerical control (CNC) equipment Lay out reference points and patterns on heavy metals according to the templates/blueprints Cut,
