Join our new dental clinic, Rutland Central Dental, as a Certified/Licensed Dental Assistant! In this vital role, you'll provide chairside assistance, ensure smooth patient flow, and support the delivery of top-quality dental care. Duties
Assist the dentist during a variety of dental procedures, including general dental procedures, implants, surgical extractions, grafting, and other treatments
CDAAC/DAANCE (IV sedation) certification or the desire to complete the training would be an asset.
Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and ensuring all necessary supplies are ready for patient care
Provide excellent patient care by explaining procedures, answering questions, and ensuring comfort throughout visits
Maintain strict adherence to infection control protocols and safety standards to ensure a clean and safe workplace for patients and staff

Skills




Proficiency with Cleardent is an asset
Robust understanding of medical terminology related to dentistry for accurate documentation and communication
Skilled in dental assisting techniques including sterilization, taking X-rays, and chairside support
Excellent communication skills to serve as an effective liaison between patients, dentists, and administrative staff

Pay: $28.00-$36.00 per hour
