Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Cleaner to maintain cleanliness and hygiene across various commercial facilities in Edmonton. The ideal candidate will ensure all areas are kept in excellent condition, contributing to a safe and welcoming setting for clients and staff.

This position involves evening cleaning shifts at different sites across the city, so applicants must have their own reliable vehicle.

Duties
Perform routine cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming floors and surfaces
Clean and sanitize restrooms, kitchens, and common areas to maintain hygiene standards
Clean windows, glass surfaces, and fixtures as required
Dispose of trash and recycling appropriately
Restock supplies such as paper towels, soap, and toilet paper when needed
Report maintenance issues or damages to management
Follow safety procedures and cleaning protocols to prevent accidents
Use cleaning equipment and chemicals safely and effectively

Qualifications




Previous experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial work is an asset but not required
WHMIS certification required (or willingness to obtain)
Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle
Ability to travel between sites when needed
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Good physical stamina for lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic

Schedule
Part-time position
Most shifts occur in the evening after business hours
Typical shifts range from 2 to 4 hours depending on the site
Some days may involve cleaning multiple sites in one shift
Current availability required for Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday
