We’re looking for a friendly and hardworking Cook to join our team. If you’re someone who takes pride in valuable food, enjoys working with their hands, has a good attitude, and likes being part of a supportive, family-style work environment, we’d love to meet you! Shifts are Tuesday morning, Wednesday & Thursday until 2pm, Friday & Saturday afternoon-evening.

What You’ll Do

Your days will be varied and busy. You’ll help keep things running smoothly in the kitchen by:
Preparing and cooking Saskitoba’s Ukrainian dishes according to our recipes and standards
Helping with daily food prep, including chopping, portioning, assembling, and preparing ingredients
Keeping up with production so we have plenty of delicious food ready for the buffet
Maintaining a clean, protected, and organized kitchen throughout your shift
Following proper food safety and handling procedures
Helping with dishes, cleaning, and other kitchen tasks when needed
Completing end-of-day cleaning so we’re ready to roll the next day

What We’re Looking For

The right fit for this role is someone who:
Brings a positive attitude and willingness to lend a hand wherever needed
Takes pride in the food they prepare and cares about quality
Is comfortable following recipes and working independently




Has a basic understanding of kitchen safety and food handling
Is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
Can stand for long periods and lift up to and above 50+ lbs
Has reliable transportation (we’re not on a public transit route)
Is available for a mix of shifts, including evenings and weekends
Ideally has previous kitchen or restaurant experience

Experience is an asset, but we’re happy to train the right person!
