Your Recent Role The Specialist, Facilities will oversee the day-to-day operations of the Vancouver office which spans approximately 100,000 sq. ft. in a prominent office building in the downtown core.
You will work closely with internal facilities and vendor management teams across the country, as well as the local office team, external vendors, and the buildings property management team to ensure the Vancouver office runs smoothly and efficiently.
Key areas of responsibility will include space planning, project management, budgeting, reporting, ergonomic assessments, incident response, emergency management, and oversight of the business continuity plan.
What youll need to succeed The successful candidate will bring strong interpersonal skills and a people-first approach to supporting a professional and fast moving workplace environment.
Facilities Education is an asset i.e. FMP or CFM.
Experience as a Facilities Coordinator, Facilities Specialist, or Facilities Administration role in an office environment.
Intermediate MS Office Skills.
Understanding of Building Systems and contractor management.
Experience with capital and operational budgets.
Ergonomic training is an asset.
