Job Title: Class 1 Driver

Location : Eastern Passage, Nova Scotia

Schedule : Day Shifts, Monday to Friday Ongoing

Pay Rate : $27/ hr

Job Overview:

Advantage Personnel is currently seeking a dependable and qualified Class 1 Driver to support transportation and logistics operations for a busy food distribution facility in Eastern Passage. This role involves local trips within the HRM area, including airport runs and packaging material pick-ups.

This is an excellent opportunity for a safety-focused driver looking for steady local work with no long-haul travel required.

Responsibilities:
Complete scheduled trips to and from the Halifax airport
Pick up packaging materials and supplies from local vendors throughout HRM
Safely operate Class 1 vehicles in accordance with transportation regulations




Load and unload materials as required
Complete delivery paperwork and maintain accurate records
Perform daily vehicle inspections and report any maintenance concerns
Maintain qualified communication with dispatch, vendors, and team members

Requirements:
Valid Class 1 Driver's License with 2 years of experience in Canada
Clean driver's abstract and safe driving history
Previous commercial driving experience preferred
Ability to lift and move materials as required
Reliable, punctual, and skilled attitude
Comfortable with local HRM driving and airport logistics
