This permanent role focuses on supporting Indigenous students through guidance, mentorship, and strong community ties. Key Responsibilities:
• Establish trusting relationships with students and families
• Remove barriers to academic success for students
• Provide pathways guidance based on individual strengths

• Advocate for Indigenous students and their cultural activities

Requirements:
• Ontario Secondary School Diploma or equivalent experience
• Post-secondary education such as Educational Assistant is an asset
• Valid driver's license is required
• Knowledge of cultural teachings and best practices is essential
• Background check with vulnerable Sector Screening is mandatory
