Reporting to: Supervisor, CNC

Description

To always provide constant supervision of the children and their well-being

Conforming to and maintaining all health and safety regulations

Ensure continuity of curriculum and a high standard of quality care in the centre

Operate the program in compliance with the CNC Childcare Regulations

Understand and be aware of settlement issues and the concerns of newcomer children and parents

Participating in on-going Professional Development and special events held on behalf of the HWCDSB for the benefit of our students and service providers

Maintain professional comportment synonymous with that of an employee of the Hamilton Wentworth Catholic District School Board

Adhere to the policies and procedures of the program (i.e. confidentiality, behaviour management, serious occurrence, etc.)

Work together as a team member,



maintaining a consistent atmosphere of cooperation, harmony, respect and anti-racism.

Qualifications

E.C.E. Diploma (applicant must be registered and in good standing with the College of Early Childhood Educators)

Current Vulnerable Sector Clearance Check

Current Immunization

Standard First Aid and CPR

Experience working in a childcare environment

Knowledgeable of Child Care Early Years Act

Salary
$28.92/hour plus 4% vacation
