: 820air kilometers northwest of Winnipeg. Population: Over 2235 Physiciansdeploy fromWinnipeg to community through chartered aircrafts, Monday morning returning Thursday evening. In-province travel and accommodations covered by organization. Out of province travel paid with physicians holding 0.25 FTE (1 week monthly). Out of province travel paid for locum providers with a commitment of 2 consecutive weeks (12 days). Qualifications: Must hold licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Manitoba, or eligible for licensure. Current membership in the Canadian Medical Protective Association ( CMPA ) Certifications: Must have current Advanced Life Support (ACLS) Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS) (within 6 months of hire)



Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) (within 6 months of hire) Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)(within 6 months of hire) Indigenous cultural awareness course (within 6 months of hire) Manitoba Opioid Antagonist Therapy (OAT) course or equivalent is

encouraged Skills/Abilities Robust health assessment and clinical skills are required Excellent leadership, critical thinking and team-oriented interpersonal skills Must be self-motivated and able to work independently, working as a member of a health care team alongside extended practice nurses, paramedics and other allied professionals Must demonstrate an appreciation of Indigenous worldviews, cultures and be sensitive in providing anti-racist, trauma- informed care. Must be able to prioritize, manage time effectively and be adaptable. Must possess a dependable, consistent and reliable work record, including attendance at work. Compensation: Compensation is remunerated as per Doctors Manitoba Northern Independent Contractor GP Agreement April 1 2023 - March 31 2027.
