SOCi is seeking a highly skilled Accounts Payable Expert for a remote role based in BC or Ontario. This position focuses on vendor payment accuracy, invoice processing, and compliance with financial regulations.

As the Accounts Payable Specialist, you will play a vital role in ensuring smooth financial operations and month-end closes. Your skills in US GAAP and process enhancement will significantly contribute to our team’s success and to creating best-in-class payables functions.

Key Responsibilities:
• Manage vendor invoices, ensuring compliance through coding
• Oversee vendor records, resolving any discrepancies
• Execute timely and accurate payment processes
• Support month-end reconciliation of AP and GL
• Maintain documentation for compliance and audit readiness

Requirements:
• 5+ years of accounts payable experience
• Comprehensive knowledge of US GAAP, particularly accruals
• Proficient in using NetSuite or similar ERP software
• High attention to detail and solid organizational skills
• Strong communication skills and advanced Excel capabilities
