Enhance your expertise as a Corporate Governance Law Clerk in a hybrid setting. This contract position in Toronto offers exposure to governance activities and board administration while allowing two on-site days weekly.

As a vital member of the insurance sector, you will collaborate with the Director of Subsidiary Governance and peers to support Canadian Subsidiary Boards. Responsibilities include drafting governance documents, maintaining minute books, and managing signatory updates. Your role demands strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to work in a skilled environment.

Key Responsibilities:
• Assist with drafting minutes, resolutions, and governance documents
• Maintain Canadian subsidiary minute books and signing authorities




• Collaborate with internal partners on corporate information requests
• Schedule and organize Board meetings and planning sessions
• Lead or participate in special projects as required

Requirements:
• Post-secondary degree and 4+ years of relevant experience
• Familiarity with Canada’s corporate legislation and requirements
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Discretion, tact, and attention to detail
• Ability to thrive in a high-volume, paperless setting
