Join ABCO as a Fabricator/Welder to craft metal structures and equipment in Lunenburg, NS. This position involves MIG and TIG welding, all while ensuring safety and quality standards are met.

As a key member of the manufacturing team, you'll work primarily with aluminum and stainless steel, operating various powered machinery and adhering to stringent welding standards. With a focus on efficiency, you will read shop drawings and perform necessary repairs and testing on manufactured equipment. Your expertise will drive quality improvement and innovation within the team.

Key Responsibilities:
• Fabricate metal structures using MIG and TIG welding
• Read and interpret shop and installation drawings
• Conduct in-field testing, adjustments, and repairs




• Operate machinery including cut-off saw and pipe bender
• Promote a culture of quality and continual improvement

Requirements:
• 1-2 years of experience in metal fabrication
• Preferred welding diploma and CWB certification
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and work flexible schedule
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel
• Safety-oriented and proficient in basic math
