Contribute to the City of Timmins as a Public Works Labourer, performing essential tasks and operating machinery under the Roads Supervisor. This full-time role involves shift work and diverse equipment operation.

As a Public Works Labourer, you will be part of a dedicated team, responsible for various manual tasks and machinery operation. You must be ready to work nights, weekends, and flexible shifts. Essential qualifications include a valid Class G Ontario Driver’s License, the ability to acquire a Class DZ, and experience with concrete or asphalt work.

Key Responsibilities:
• Perform assigned labourer work tasks efficiently
• Train on and operate light and heavy-duty equipment
• Adapt to various shift schedules, including nights and weekends




• Follow both oral and written instructions accurately
• Maintain a transparent Driver’s Abstract during employment

Requirements:
• Valid Class G Ontario Driver's License required
• Must obtain Class DZ within four months of hiring
• Grade 12 education or equivalent necessary
• Experience in construction is a valuable asset
• Physical ability to handle medium to heavy labour
