SCHOOL DISTRICT NO. 74 (GOLD TRAIL) is looking for a responsible, part time Bus Driver for the Lytton Westside 3 Route. This position emphasizes protected transportation and vehicle maintenance.
As a Bus Driver, you will work 25 hours each week, ensuring that students arrive safely at school and for various trips. You will perform daily inspections and uphold student discipline on the bus. Possessing a Class 2 Driver's License with air endorsement and experience in driving are critical to succeed in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
• Drive students safely to and from school
• Supervise students to ensure a secure riding experience
• Conduct thorough pre- and post-trip bus inspections
• Clean and maintain the bus both inside and outside
• Manage minor repairs and advise the Mechanic of issues
Requirements:
• Valid Class 2 Driver's License with air endorsement
• Minimum of two years Class 2 driving experience
• Clear Driver's Abstract and criminal record
• Basic mechanical knowledge of vehicles
• Robust communication with students
