Responsibilities:

Supervise a team of 5-6 dock employees per shift, tasked with unloadingall inbound trucks and staging tires within the processing facility;

Normal Shift is 10:00 am to 7:00 pm, or until all unloading activitieshave been completed, however this will change from time to time based on theneeds of the business. Current working hours are 6:00 am to 2:30 PM. This plantoperates 24/7.

Co-ordinate inbound and out-bound shipments with plant operations;

Follow-up to ensure that shipments are not delayed;

Verify and complete required documentation and reports;

Promote and administer a safe,



healthy work environment for the workgroup; and

Submit reports to management on inbound tire volumes and other data.

Some overtime and weekend work required

Wage: $27/hour

Qualifications:

A minimum of two years supervisory experience in a warehouse industry is preferred;

Experience in warehousing, licence to operate forklift an asset;

This is a “hand on role” therefore the successful candidate must havethe ability to lift and maneuvertires (up to 30 pounds);

Safely walk and stand for extended periods of time;

Must be able to walk, reach (including above your head), bend, climb,push, pull, twist, squat and kneel as necessary to perform the job duties;

Ability to work under time pressures;

Must be able to work outdoors for extended periods of time:

Team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills; and

Excellent computer skills using MS Office & Scale Manager softwareis an asset.
