This energetic role involves providing operational oversight and strategic direction for Indigenous Student Services, partnering with communities and academic stakeholders to implement the Niitsitapi Strategy. Your leadership will drive culturally relevant initiatives aimed at enhancing enrollment, transition, and graduation rates for Indigenous students. This position emphasizes collaboration and commitment to creating welcoming environments that support Indigenous perspectives.
Key Responsibilities:
• Implement and enhance Niitsitapi Strategy initiatives
• Oversee Indigenous programming and support services
• Develop community partnerships for better engagement
• Promote reconciliation through educational initiatives
• Manage budgets and operational plans
Requirements:
• Bachelor's Degree in a relevant discipline
• 5+ years of relevant experience in post-secondary education
• Background in community-engaged Indigenous programming
• Strong leadership and organizational abilities
• Effective communicator with diverse stakeholders
