This permanent role seeks a strategic HR leader with over 5 years of experience, ready to support CBC News leadership across Newfoundland, PEI, Current Brunswick, and Nova Scotia. You will navigate complex industrial relations and foster a culture of respect and inclusion, ensuring alignment with CBC/Radio-Canada’s values.
Key Responsibilities:
• Advise leaders on HR/IR challenges and strategies
• Guide performance management and workforce planning efforts
• Foster positive union-management relationships
• Support organizational development and change initiatives
• Establish strategic priorities to meet local needs
Requirements:
• 5+ years in HR, preferably in a unionized setting
• Bachelor’s degree in HR or Industrial Relations
• Excellent communication and influencing skills
• Ability to work independently with initiative
• Bilingualism in English and French is an asset
