Key Responsibilities
Develop, modify, and troubleshoot PLC programs for automated equipment and control systems.
Perform PLC/HMI programming, configuration, testing, and debugging.
Commission recent machinery, automation systems, and production equipment onsite.
Conduct I/O checkout, point-to-point testing, and functional testing.
Troubleshoot PLC, HMI, sensors, actuators, VFDs, motors, and electrical control systems.
Integrate PLCs with robots, HMIs, drives, vision systems, safety systems, and other automation equipment.
Support machine startup, system validation, and production ramp-up.
Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and control-panel drawings.
Work with electrical and mechanical teams to resolve equipment and controls issues.
Perform system testing and document commissioning activities, changes, and troubleshooting results.
Support factory acceptance testing (FAT) and site acceptance testing (SAT).
Provide onsite technical support during installation, startup, and production.
Coordinate with customers, vendors, electricians, and engineering teams during commissioning.
Ensure automation systems meet safety, quality, and performance requirements.
