The successful candidate will be a licensed practical nurse with registration from the Nova Scotia College of Nursing. Applicants should be equipped with a solid foundation in pharmacology and demonstrate excellent communication skills. Experience with elderly care is beneficial, and candidates must meet all criminal record check requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
• Carry out daily tasks as per NSCN standards
• Work cooperatively with staff to promote a positive atmosphere
• Maintain confidentiality of resident information
• Document incidents and resident care in required formats
• Provide end-of-shift reports to management
Requirements:
• Valid LPN/RPN certification is mandatory
• First Aid and CPR certification required
• Excellent decision-making abilities under pressure
• Skilled demeanor with a commitment to care
• Experience with senior care is preferred
